Within an architectural competition held in 2007, a new commercial and residential building was planned to be built on a historical ground near the centre of Kuressaare. Named ground was bought by Saarte Investeering in 2018. In cooperation with Asum Arhitektid OÜ, the interior design of the building will be modernised. This will result in Kuressaare having yet another attractive and cozy apartment building with commercial premises. In addition to the latter, the building is planned to have four apartments.
